The CareGivers Grief Commission™

Our Mission

Our Approach

Our Approach

The CareGivers Grief Commission exists because no Family CareGiver should have to walk this road without knowing that real, support exists.

Most caregivers discover resources too late because the systems are fragmented, and hard to navigate when you’re already exhausted and in survival mode.

We’re changing that by addressing what comes first: the emotional impact of the losses that present with careing for a loved one.

When caregivers have space to process, breathe, and reset, they can finally take the next steps of accessing the help, resources, and decisions that follow.

Our focus is on creating tools, conversations, community, and systemic change that help caregivers

  • Use their voice to shape the systems that serve them.
  • Build endurance through faith, skill, and real support.
  • Lead conversations that change how caregiving is understood.
  • Reclaim purpose, identity, and peace in every season of care.

Every dollar and partnership fuels that mission. Expanding emotional access, building awareness, and putting real tools in the hands of families nationwide. As we grow, we will continue to build toward what comes next: scholarships, opportunities, and support for caregivers rebuilding life from their caregiving season.

We’re making space for caregivers to keep showing up for their loved one and for themselves! The CareGivers Grief Commission exists because no family caregiver should have to walk this road without knowing help exists. Most discover resources too late, if at all, because the system is slow, fragmented, and hard to navigate while you’re in the middle of care.

Our Approach

Our Approach

Our Approach

As a peer-led resource, everything we do is built on lived experience & informed by professional expertise.

Our solutions are practical, compassionate, and designed for  family caregivers who don’t have time or energy to jump through hoops.

  • Shining a light on hidden resources, both local and national, that most caregivers never hear about in time.
  • Giving language to the caregiving experience through the CG ARC Model ™,  E.N.D.U.R.A.N.C.E - Guide for Coping ™ , &  REST  -2-  RESET Model making it easier to name needs and ask for help.
  • Modeling rapid response by sharing tools without delay, inspired by those who step in during visible crises because caregiver crises are just as urgent, even when unseen.
  • Building connection through online community, events and partnerships that strengthen both individual caregivers and the network that serves them.

This approach is proactive, preventative, and deeply personal,  because “help” is only help if it’s accessible when you need it most.

What Others Are Saying...

"I reached out just to check on her but I left feeling seen, blessed, and uplifted. As someone who’s walked the path of caregiving and grief, I didn’t expect our conversation to minister to me the way it did. Suzanne has a rare gift: her transparency makes every word relevant, real, and deeply relatable. She doesn’t just speak from experience, she speaks from a place of obedience, healing, and purpose. What she’s doing isn’t just helpful… it’s exceptional."

— A Fellow Caregiver and Grieving Daughter

"I’ve done the first reflection, and it’s already helping me. Naming the ask and the challenges I feel when thinking about that ask. It makes it so much easier to see and process when it’s written down. This is all about ENDURANCE! I’m looking forward to using the journal to handle the issues my dad and I face more proactively, and to give myself more grace and understanding when I say no to some asks I know are best."

"Reading through the journal was a moving experience. I found myself reading most of it in one sitting because of how raw, honest, and powerfully written it is. Suzanne has created something truly special. An offering that speaks directly to the heart of caregiving and grief.

One line in particular stood out: 'Love doesn’t always show up in warm hugs or quiet smiles, it often shows up in schedules, reminders, hard conversations, and sacrifice.' That statement resonated deeply with my own experience and reflects the emotional clarity this journal offers.

THE CODE THAT CARRIES US

E.N.D.U.R.A.N.C.E - Guide for Coping ™

When God gave me this word, I didn’t know it would become the foundation for this commission. But looking back, it was always there. Woven into every late-night worry, every silent sacrifice, and every step I took without knowing how it would all turn out.

The Caregiver’s Code is the spiritual, emotional, and practical guide that reminds us how we keep going with God, not just grit.

  •  E - Extend Grace to Yourself:  Accept reality. Stress rewires how you move, think, & respond.

  • N - Name What Hurts:  Speak it, Write it... Suppressed pain doesn’t disappear, it festers.

  • D - Do One Thing Today:  Even if it's small. A single act of care for yourself is still progress.

  • U - Understand This Is Real:  Your exhaustion is valid. Your grief is not an exaggeration.

  • R - Release the Pressure:  Protect your capacity. Caregiving is a long-haul journey, not a sprint.

  • A - Anchor Yourself in Faith:  God doesn’t shift. Let His presence be your baseline.

  • N - Notice What You Need:  Tune in. The caregiver in you sees others but don’t ignore yourself.

  • C - Create  Space:  Grief needs room. Carve out time to cry, rest, journal, and reconnect.

  • E - Embrace the Journey Not Just the End:   Be Present. Let yourself be there, for you too.

"Bold graphic w phrase 'Our Super Power = ENDURANCE,' highlighting caregiver strength and faith."
